Hi, I’m Valerie — a science marketer with a PhD in molecular biology.

I started my career in research, but quickly realised I was just as interested in how science was communicated as the science itself. What began with technical writing gradually evolved into a broader focus on marketing, messaging and strategic communication for biotech, diagnostics and healthcare companies.

I’m drawn to the challenge of taking complex ideas and shaping them into communication that feels clear, credible and commercially meaningful — whether that’s through brand messaging, thought leadership, digital campaigns or scientific content strategy. I enjoy understanding what makes a product or technology valuable, and finding the right way to communicate that value across technical, commercial and stakeholder audiences.
